What we do with your data

For example, we use a chat tool to offer you best-in-class customer support, and we share your name and email address with that service so that we're able to identify you as a customer.

We may contact you from time to time to let you know about our services, which may include sending you newsletters and news on events that you may be interested in. You can elect not to receive such marketing material at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in all our emails and newsletters.
What we don't do with your data
We never share your information with any third parties for marketing purposes not directly related to QuotEasy.
We don't store your full credit card details within QuotEasy.
We don't store your data after you cancel your service with us, and we don't keep backups of your data for more than 60 days.
What data we collect when you use our software and services
We collect the following data from you: name, contact details, basic payment information (e.g. your credit/debit card details and billing address), IP address, information from cookies, information about your computer or device (e.g. device and browser type), information about how you use our website (e.g. which pages you have viewed, the time when you view them and what you clicked on), the geographical location from which you accessed our app (based on GPS from mobile devices), company name and VAT number (if applicable).
How long we retain your data for
Data is kept for as long as you remain a user of our service, in order for us to provide you with that service. If you choose to cancel your account, all data (including backups) is permanently deleted within 30 days.
